The College of the Telecommunications and Postal Regulatory Authority (Artp), under the presidency of Abou Abel Thiam, is preparing to take leave of office on January 9, thus marking the end of their “legal” mandate. This transition was announced in an official press release issued by the college, according to the Le Quotidien website.

Abou Abel Thiam, surrounded by his colleagues Professor Modi Coumba Gadiaga, Mr. Amadou Ly, Ms. Ada Hagne Dia and Ms. Arame Ndoye Thiam, expressed his gratitude to Allah for their journey and sent a moving thought to Doudou Guèye, a colleague who disappeared during their mandate. The press release also highlights their satisfaction at having collaborated with the various directors general of Artp and the various players in the telecommunications ecosystem within a framework of respect for the laws of this independent administrative authority (Aai).

The College concludes by wishing their successors every success in ensuring the continuity of the regulatory mission. The details of this transition were relayed by our colleagues at Le Quotidien, who report the announcement made by the college.
