The Dr Georges Levesque Prize, created to recognize the exceptional involvement of a person, group or organization in the fight against cancer, was recently awarded to the Annette Cimon Lebel Foundation.
This recognition was offered during the 18th edition of the Oncology Scientific Day, Friday, October 25, in Rimouski. She comes to salute all the achievements of the Annette Cimon Lebel Foundation since 1995.
The various projects implemented by the foundation make it possible to improve services in complementarity with those of health and social services in order to maintain the quality of life of people throughout the care pathway.
Through a range of mutual aid, accompaniment, comfort and support services, the Annette Cimon Lebel Foundation has been involved for nearly thirty years in the well-being of clients affected by cancer.
An honorary plaque and a $1,000 grant were presented to the Annette Cimon Lebel Foundation to highlight the work accomplished.
