Belgium: Iran finances a new plan to convert Mullahs, conscripted Moroccan women to Shiism

This is a new trend, described as “worrying“, and which is currently the subject of many questions. Members of the Moroccan community residing in Belgium report a growing number of Moroccan women, who live in this country or in other Western European countries, and who find themselves marrying according to “Shiite rites“, which could be seen as the orchestration of a vast indoctrination operation.

The aim of the sponsors of this trend: not only to introduce these Moroccan women, born Muslims and therefore Sunni Malikis, into one of the most rigorous Shiite movements there is, but also to ensure that the children they are about to give birth to are drawn into this trend.

According to reliable sources interviewed by Assaba As of this Monday, July 1, it is the Iranian regime which is the sponsor of this vast recruitment operation, targeting exclusively Moroccan women living in Western Europe. The goal pursued by Tehran is to convince people who adopt the principles of the rigorist Shiism of the Mullahs’ regime to marry Moroccan women.

The daily newspaper reports that, according to informed sources, this trend is currently taking on significant proportions in Belgium, where more and more of these “Shiite marriages» are observed, where the brides are Moroccans, often carrying another nationality.

According to the same sources, at least a hundred women are currently concerned, a large number of whom have been offered a stay in Iran and in Shiite regions of Iraq, with the aim that “these Shiite rites» be instilled in them.

Most of these women come, according to sources interviewed by the daily, from towns in the north of the Kingdom and the Rif mountains, and for this operation, they would have been approached in mosques and Muslim places of worship that they frequented Brussels, Liège, Charleroi and Antwerp.

More and more wedding ceremonies of this type have been observed in Brussels, where rituals were observed that the guests considered “weird» et «totally foreign to Moroccan customs».

Assaba indicates that the Belgian authorities have themselves noted this trend, described as “of worrying“, and according to information gathered by the daily, these wedding ceremonies are “financed by foreign sources».

The daily was also able to verify the information that cultural sites and places of worship are used by Shiite parties, with the aim of recruiting Moroccan women, targeted for this indoctrination operation.

Alongside the observation of this trend, several members of the Moroccan community established in Belgium have expressed concern about the sharp increase, recently noted, in the number of “Shiite study centers“, which initiate more and more events, with the unavowed aim of “promote» their worship.

The sources ofAssaba report fears from these Moroccans in the diaspora: that these actions, intended to be aimed at “promotion” of a vision of Shiism specific to the Iranian regime, do not end up settling in Morocco, particularly in the northern regions of the Kingdom, where the women who were targeted in Belgium come from.
