After the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), the Botola Pro clubs expressed this weekend their most sincere condolences to King Mohammed VI and the royal family, following the death of Princess Lalla Latifa, wife of the late Hassan II and mother of the Sovereign.

This loss, which occurred on the afternoon of Saturday June 29, deeply affected the entire royal family, and more generally the Moroccan nation.

Through various press releases and publications on social networks, clubs, notably Raja de Casablanca, WAC, AS FAR, FUS de Rabat, RSB, paid tribute to Princess Lalla Latifa. The messages of support also demonstrated the unity and solidarity of the sporting community towards the King and his family in these moments of mourning.

Football, an emblematic and unifying sport in Morocco, has once again shown its ability to bring people together and share values ​​of respect and compassion. The clubs have expressed their hope that the King and his family will find comfort and strength to overcome this painful ordeal. The entire country joins in these tributes.

In their messages, the Botola clubs also implored the Almighty “to surround the deceased with His holy mercy, to welcome her into His vast paradise, to preserve the Sovereign, and to grant patience and comfort to the family and to the loved ones of the late Lalla Latifa”.
