This week, to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the fourth season of “Star Academy”, the production brought back former emblematic teachers. Their goal? Meet the students of the class of 2024 and give them some lessons. Result: on Tuesday, the academicians passed their weekly evaluations in front of Armande Altaï, Oscar Sisto and Kamel Ouali, in addition to the usual teachers. These tests allowed Ebony, Charles and Franck to compete to win immunity. Little special feature of this week: the winner of this battle wins a preview golden ticket for the “Star Academy” tour. A precious gift that was ultimately awarded to Ebony. Unfortunately, these assessments have not been successful for everyone. And like every week, three students are on the eliminated bench this evening: Masséo, Ulysse and Maïa.

The last chance battle

During the evaluations, Maïa covered “Le monde est stone”, a piece performed at the “Star Academy” by Magalie Vaé, in 2005. For their part, Ulysse and Masséo chose “En weightless”, a title covered by Nolwenn Leroy , in duet with Calogero, during the 2002 edition. Michael Goldman found Masséo “ too static, as often “. Ulysses also did not immediately succeed in getting his ticket for the rest of the adventure. The director of the castle greeted “ the risk taken with this song “, but regretted that there had been ” too many mistakes » in his performance. Maïa is the third student to find herself in danger this week. “ There is a tone problem, it didn't bother me at all », declared Marlène Schaff, the stage expression teacher, after her performance.

To defend their place at the “Star Academy” and hope to follow the same path as Jenifer, winner of season 1 who came this evening to sing with Julie, the three academicians gave everything: Maïa sang “I see red”, a title energetic band Everybody Loves An Outlaw. Masséo, the youngest of the season that Michael Goldman finds “ still a teenager in his head and in his body ”, covered “Sorry Seems to Be The Hardest Word” by Elton John. For his part, Ulysse, accompanied by his electric guitar, chose to perform “Turn off the light”, by Axel Bauer.

The three talents were also able to sing “Quelques mots d’amour”, the song by Michel Berger, with the comrade of their choice. A unique moment for the nominees who were quickly joined by Maureen, Julie and Marguerite. But it didn't take long for them to come down from their little cloud. And one thing is certain: the votes were close! Ulysses was saved by the public, who supported their favorite by SMS and on the TF1 + application. Maïa was finally picked out by the other students, who had a lot of difficulty deciding between her and Masséo. A difficult end to the evening for the academicians who are now only nine returning to the Château des Vives-Eaux.
