Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has picked his favorites for Euro 2024.
Former Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas has named Germany and Spain as his favourites to reach the final of the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament.
Both teams have already secured their places in the round of 16 after impressive performances in the group stage.
Fabregas on Euro 2024 favorites
Hosts Germany were the first to book their place in the round of 16, winning two games and drawing one, while Spain cruised through their group with a perfect record, beating Croatia, Italy and Albania.
Fabregas, who won the Euro with Spain in 2008 and 2012 as well as the World Cup in 2010, believes the two nations are the most complete teams at the tournament so far.

Fabregas highlighted the teams’ tactical discipline, possession-based approach and aggressive style of play as key factors behind his prediction.

Germany faces Denmark in the quarter-finals this weekend, while Spain faces Georgia, who upset Portugal in their final group match 24 hours later.
