Geneva, June 27, 2024 – With RTS, “The Stories of Millie D Illustrated” presents the famous podcast in six new video episodes, while the show “Y’a pas scolaire?” brings a jovial and educational boost to Saturdays. In July, “Les jeux de La Fontaine” will give the Paris Olympics a fun twist.

This summer, RTS is planning a cocktail of images that is as sparkling as it is informative for young audiences in French-speaking Switzerland. From today, the video series Millie D’s stories illustrated offers 6 new episodes of 8 to 9 minutes on Play RTS, allowing children and parents to immerse themselves in the creative universe of an artist and listen to their favorite stories at the same time. In this co-production signed RTS and Société Ecran, the meeting of the character Millie D and six talents of French-speaking illustration places pretty names in the credits, bringing into action the cartoonists Amélie Strobino, Adrienne Barman, Frederik Peeters, Line Rime, Peggy Adam and Zep.

“We are all fascinated, young and old, when with pencil, paintbrush, felt-tip pen, the drawing takes shape before our eyes and evolves over the course of the story. This is what these videos show,” explains Anouck Merz, who plays the voice of Millie D and who hosts and produces the show. Brouhaha, on RTS La Première. “After the immense success of the podcast Millie D’s Stories, we developed a project with artists from French-speaking Switzerland to offer children something other than their usual animated series. The video series wants to make people dream and educate at the same time, by bringing to life all the characters imagined by the author Christine Pompeï,” adds Anouck Merz.

Emission Is there no school?

From June 29, the show Is there no school? presented by Tania Chytil returns every Saturday on RTS 1, with 13 editions planned during the summer. The key theme of nature is joined this season by that of sport, in unison with the Paris Olympics and the European Football Championship. On the green or in the stadiums, children will discover exciting worlds and escape.

This Saturday, the show will dive underwater to explore the captivating wildlife. Rivers, ponds, lakes, ponds: so many places where different species live, such as the grebe, this specialist in underwater fishing, or the catfish, this mysterious fish.

Animated series La Fontaine’s games

To celebrate the presence of the Olympic Games (OG) in France, children will be able to discover The La Fontaine gamesa new original humorous animated series aimed at an audience aged 6 and over. Through 13 episodes of 2 minutes, broadcast at a rate of three episodes per day from Monday 24 July on RTS 1, the event will mischievously bring Olympic and Paralympic values ​​to the screen through the prism of Jean de La Fontaine’s famous fables.

Every four years, the best athletes in the animal kingdom come together for their own version of the Olympics. Dogs, crows, frogs, bears, foxes and many others challenge each other in a series of sporting events to determine who will be the phoenix of the hosts of these woods. From athletics to para-swimming to skateboarding, no event is spared our valiant athletes!
