The French football team will therefore face Belgium. Second in Group E behind Romania after a draw against Ukraine this Wednesday evening at Euro 2024, the Belgians will cross paths with the Blues on Monday July 1 (6 p.m.) in the round of 16.
A taste of revenge
The match will be played in Düsseldorf, in a stadium which was rather successful for Didier Deschamps’ players during the first match of the group stage against Austria (1-0).
The last time the France team faced the Red Devils was in 2021, during the Nations League. The Blues won 3 goals to 2. The team which wins this round of 16 will face the winner of the meeting between Portugal and a third in the group, on Friday July 5 (9 p.m.) in the quarter-final.
