The France team faces Israel in the Nations League this Thursday (8:45 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the Blues.
The months follow one another and are similar for Didier Deschamps. After a lackluster Euro 2024, the Blues
are struggling to win back the hearts of the French. The fault lies in unattractive performances in the game, and a declining popularity of the players of the France team.
Favorite of the public, vice-captain Antoine Griezmann has retired internationally, while captain Kylian Mbappé is going through a very delicate period and is absent from a gathering for the second time in two months. Didier Deschamps is therefore forced to completely reshape his starting lineup.
The Blues with a new eleven
For this match against Israel, the Blues could present themselves in a 4-3-3 formation, and strong choices will be made in all lines, starting with the attack, where Randal Kolo Muani, top scorer of the team of France in 2024, is expected to continue at the forefront.
The Parisian could be supported by Michael Olise, always looking for a reference match in Blue, and Bradley Barcola. In the middle, N'Golo Kanté, interim captain, is expected. And to support him, the balance would tip in favor of Eduardo Camavinga and Warren Zaire-Emery, another notable surprise. Finally, in central defense, it is Dayot Upamecano who could accompany Ibrahima Konaté, while the usual holders Jules Koundé and Théo Hernandez are expected on the sides. Mike Maignan will hold his place in the goals.
The expected line-up for the Blues : Maignan – Kounde, Conate, Upamecano, T. Hernandez – Zaire-Emery, Kante, Camavinga – Olise, Kolo-Muani, Barcola.
