According to him, it is necessary to “destroy the system to rebuild it entirely”. Organize “massive deportations” for illegal migrants, “most of whom are rapists”, as for “narcoterrorists, I don’t want them to be pursued, I want them to be shot dead”. Spain is a “criminal state”, dominated by “corrupt politicians”, starting with its head of government Pedro Sanchez. His biggest project is to build a gigantic prison for 40,000 people near Madrid, in which he would like to house the socialist leader, “all corrupt politicians”, “foreigners with criminal records” as well as “criminals of all kinds”.

Alvise Pérez, the 34-year-old Sevillian who expresses these wishes as extreme as they are delusional, was until now off the radar, unknown from television sets, traditional media, and the political agora. But now in Spain everyone is talking about this man who ended his campaign by uttering hateful and vengeful words over loudspeakers “against the rotten elite who rule us”, in the very center of Madrid. And for good reason: this populist neophyte obtained 800,763 votes and three seats in the Strasbourg Parliament following Sunday’s European elections.
