The rest after the ad

Although they didn’t know each other, Johnny and Laeticia fell in love at first sight in Miami in 1995. A year later, they got married. She is 21 years old and he is 52. The couple remained united until the singer’s death on December 5, 2017, after 22 years of marriage and two children. On this anniversary of the birth of her late husband, Laeticia Hallyday, always very moved, wanted to pay tribute to him by sharing a very touching post. The mother of Jade and Joy, followed by more than 476,000 followers on Instagram, published a private video of the singer wishing his wife and daughters a good night: “My loves, this little note before going to bed to tell you that I love you. I miss you a lot. I hope you had a good day today. This message is for my three loves: my Laeti, my Jade and my Joy. Good night my loves. See you tomorrow.

Her “Laeti” does not forget her and accompanied this lovely memory with a poignant text: “You would have been 81 years old my love. We will celebrate you today. There are days in my life when I wish I could turn back time and every June 15th is one of them.“Laetitia expresses the cruel lack she still feels for her late husband:”If I could, I would give him all the kisses in the world, I would hold him in an endless hug and if I could, I would say ‘I love you’ a million more times…

She then talks about the difficulty of mourning. A mourning which still seems to be very present for Johnny’s fourth wife who is now raising his two daughters without him: “But since he left I have had to learn to live differently, to live without him. I learned about grief, mourning, real grief. As it moves through the body, as it inhabits it, it becomes part of your skin, your memory, your cells and it settles there like a permanent home but we learn to live with it because we don’t We have no choice, because we don’t start our lives over again, we continue with them.” Laeticia Hallyday ends her message with a positive affirmation about love: “I learned that life is fragile and that we are not invincible. Live and love fully.

Johnny’s grave transformed

She is not the only one to have paid tribute to Johnny for his birthday: many fans placed flowers at his grave in Saint-Barthélémy, the grave being looked after by his friend Jean-Pierre Millot. Covered with photos and pebbles with messages, Johnny’s stele is also decorated with a motorcycle and two guitars made of flowers as well as the number 81 in white roses. Even after seven years of absence, the singer continues to be missed by his admirers who do not fail to celebrate him on every important date.

This evening there will be a lovely vigil, moving as always with fans who have come.
