Israeli settlers set fire to around twenty Palestinian vehicles on Monday in the town of Al-Bireh, located in the center of the occupied West Bank. According to witnesses present at the scene, these settlers attacked the neighboring industrial zone of Ramallah at dawn.

Civil defense teams and ambulances responded quickly when alerted by residents who had reported the fires. However, the settlers opened fire on these rescue teams, but fortunately no injuries were reported.

Sami Al-Khouli, a resident of the area, shared that similar attacks have taken place in the past. He mentions that tires had been damaged and that anti-Palestinian writing had been made. During Monday’s attack, around 20 vehicles were burned.

This area is located in Area C, a territory under complete Israeli control, according to the 1995 Oslo Accords. Al-Khouli says residents regularly ask for protection measures, but receive no response.

At the same time, a neighboring building was hit by flames from burning vehicles. A recently released report reveals that the Israeli army and settlers have carried out numerous attacks in this area over the past month.

According to the Palestinian Commission for Resistance to the Wall and Settlements, there were 1,130 army attacks and 360 settler attacks, mainly in the Nablus, Hebron and Jerusalem areas. These acts include armed assaults, destruction of property, and mass arrests.

Additionally, Israeli military operations are intensifying in the West Bank alongside the situation in Gaza. This resulted in a heavy human toll with many deaths and injuries. According to Palestinian data, numerous arrests also took place as a result of these clashes.
