The Regional Project Execution Agency for the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region has allocated a budget estimated at two billion centimes to rehabilitate four weekly markets in the province of Al Hoceima.
According to informed sources, these markets include the communities of Arbaa Taourirt, Katama, Beni Boussar and Amrabten.
This project is part of a partnership agreement to which more than 1.26 billion dirhams have been allocated, aimed at financing agricultural projects aimed at improving the distribution and marketing chains of local products, in the part of the development program for the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region and the Green Network. Generation strategy.
More than 207 million dirhams have also been allocated to the rehabilitation and establishment of new weekly markets in several village communities in the region. These markets include seven in the provinces of Chefchaouen, six in Al Hoceima and Larache, two in Tétouan and Ouazzane and one in M’diq-Fnideq.
This project will be financed through a partnership between several actors, since the Ministry of the Interior will make a contribution of 52.8 million dirhams, the Ministry of Agriculture will make a contribution of 37.59 million dirhams, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce will make a contribution of 19 million dirhams and the municipality of Tangier. The Tetouan-Al Hoceima region will make a contribution of 88 million dirhams, in addition to 9.5 million dirhams from the local groups concerned.
