Incarcerated at Rebeuss prison in room 27, Ameth Ndoye, well-known Sen TV columnist, continues to attract the attention and support of many Senegalese, assures Les Echos.
As his judgment approaches, scheduled for next Monday, Ndoye’s situation is attracting attention, not only for the nature of his detention, but also for the signs of affection and solidarity that are flowing towards him. Last Thursday, a large crowd of supporters went to Rebeuss to express their support for Ameth Ndoye.

However, despite the scale of this mobilization, visits were refused, because the days reserved for visits for him are set for Friday. The numerous visitors thus left the premises without being able to communicate with him, after hours of waiting and unsuccessful attempts to plead their case. Ameth Ndoye is not the only media face to experience this ordeal of incarceration. Lat Diop, another personality, also shares the same walls of Rebeuss prison.
