The assembly of the Vert’libéraux (PVL) on Saturday was the opportunity to mark the 20th anniversary of the first cantonal section of the party in Zurich. For its president Jürg Grossen, the PVL has every reason to exist: it is the only party to 100% support a new agreement with the EU.

“It is clear that we want and must have long-term stable relations with our closest neighbors,” said the Bernese national councilor at the delegates’ meeting in Rüschlikon (ZH). He criticized the unions and the SVP for their excessively negative position on European policy.

No one can ignore the liberal Greens when it comes to energy policy either: “We are the ones who are 100% committed to the energy revolution – without new nuclear power plants.”

During the assembly, the Green Liberals celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Zurich cantonal party. The program also includes the slogans concerning the two projects on tenancy law, on which the people will vote on November 24.
