From this Saturday and until May 26, the 25-year-old Slovenian will mainly battle with the only riders from the past who have achieved his 2024 goal: winning the Giro and the Tour de France in the same year. The Australian Ben O’Connor (Décathlon-AG2R La Mondiale), the Briton Geraint Thomas (INEOS Grenadiers) and the French Romain Bardet (DSM) aim to get on the final podium.
