For the photo section, Samsung has chosen a triple photo module composed of a 50 megapixel main sensor with wide-angle optics (f/1.8), an ultra-wide-angle (f/2.2) of 5 Mpx and a macro module (2 Mpx sensor)… dispensable.
Main module: 50 Mpx, f/1.8, eq. 26mm
Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A15 5G offers less detailed daytime photos, but with more faithful colors. We note a slight overexposure and the presence of digital noise, compensated by digital smoothing which alters the sharpness.

In low light, on the other hand, if neither device convinces, the A15 5G does less well with shots with desaturated colors, which is particularly visible at the level of the color chips. The contours are accentuated to give an impression of sharpness and, despite the colorimetric concerns visible on our test charts, the whole is a little more readable than the image of the Galaxy A14; the chromatic aberrations from which it suffered have disappeared on this new generation.

50MP mode
By default, the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G takes advantage of the pixel-binning to obtain brighter and more detailed images, by grouping 4 pixels-in-1 here. The move to full definition, very easily accessible within the app, does not bring a significant gain, day or night. There remains the possibility of cropping without degrading the quality of the shots.

Ultra wide-angle module: 5 Mpx, f/2.2
Compared to the recent Redmi Note 13, the ultra wide angle of the Galaxy A15 5G struggles to convince in daytime photos. Digital noise alters the level of detail and the image suffers marked distortion, giving an effect fisheye to all.

At night, the noise is even more present. The rendering, although more readable than that of its competitor, is particularly blurry and the colors are again desaturated. Impossible to exploit the clichés in any way.

Front module, portrait and video mode
The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G is equipped in the center of the screen with a 13 Mpx sensor, whose lens, placed in a teardrop-shaped notch, opens at f/2.2. This delivers well-exposed shots, but with a little too much smoothing. In portrait mode, the clipping is good.
On the video side, the device allows you to film in Full HD at 30 fps, both front and back, with sufficient results for social networks.
