“My country is at war, fighting for its survival. But after hearing the lies and slander against my country from many speakers at this podium, I decided to come and set the record straight,” he said.
The Israeli Prime Minister was boycotted on Friday by some of the diplomats who left the UN General Assembly in New York.
Diplomats left the room upon his arrival, AFP noted.
A “contemptuous farce”

“I tell you, until Israel, until the Jewish state, is treated like other nations, until the anti-Semitic swamp is drained, the UN will be considered by the righteous people as nothing more than a contemptuous farce,” he said from the podium of the UN General Assembly.

The Israeli Prime Minister indicated that operations against Lebanese Hezbollah would continue, dashing hopes of a temporary 21-day truce proposed earlier this week by France and the United States.
