Rapper Soprano was the guest of Olivier Schoonejans’ 1 p.m. news to talk about his new album “Émancipation” and his upcoming tour. But in a moment of euphoria, he let slip information that his team had not yet made official: a third date at the ING Arena in Brussels.
Soprano is on all fronts with “Emancipation”, the second part of its conceptual trilogy which began with “Freedom” and which will end with “Renaissance”. During the interview, he talked about the idea behind these projects: “Freedom” for the quest for freedom, “Emancipation” to free oneself from toxic attachments, and “Renaissance” to celebrate a new life. But between two in-depth explanations about his Music, the singer could not hide his enthusiasm for his next concerts.
Asked about his tour at the ING Arena on April 18 and 19, he let himself be carried away by the passion of the moment by slipping: “We are going to do two Palais 12s. And we are going to add perhaps a third date for the end of the year…”. Before recovering at the end of the interview with an embarrassed laugh: “Ah, I said it, did I spoil it? I didn’t do it on purpose!”. Before explaining that it was because he felt good on set.
A blunder that delights the fans
This spontaneous revelation immediately ignited social networks. Belgian fans were delighted with this probable third date in the emblematic Brussels venue. The artist, known for his proximity to the Belgian public, also underlined the love he has for Belgium: “There is a special bond with the public in Brussels. Even in France, there are always 50 or 100 people, who come from Belgium, from Brussels, who follow me in concert.”

If the information has not yet been officially confirmed by his team, we imagine that this premature announcement could quickly become reality, given the enthusiasm that the tour is already generating. The Marseille rapper promises a grandiose show for his next tour, which he describes as “a moment of celebration and emotion”.
