If the last hours were monopolized by Lewis Hamilton and his debut with Ferrari F1, there were other drivers, in less prestigious teams, who made their debuts. Indeed, Jack Doohan has had his seat molded into the brand new Alpine A525, a single-seater which will be fielded in 2025 by the Team based in Enstone. An ejection seat, shall we say with mischief, since Franco Colapinto was recently recruited as a reserve pilot.

Knowing that the son of the MotoGP legend will only be entitled to six Grand Prix (five, if we count the one run last year) to convince his employers that he is indeed the man for the job. In the meantime, on paper, the Australian driver has his chances. It is up to him, therefore, to perform, to put all the chances on his side and possibly attract another team, in the event that his fate has already been decided by Flavio Briatore.
