Bruce Dickinson promised that the tour Run For Your Lives of Iron Maiden, scheduled for 2025, will be an extraordinary event. With a never-before-seen setlist and spectacular scenography, the group will celebrate its 50th anniversary with sold-out concerts in several European cities.

In a recently released video, Bruce Dickinson announced: “2025 is going to be exceptional. We’re going to push the boundaries with this tour. We’ll do things we’ve never done before, and it’ll be a setlist for posterity.”

Dickinson also confirmed that the tour, starting in May 2025, will continue into 2026 in order to cover parts of the world that the band will not be able to visit in 2025.

A memorable anniversary tour

The tour Run For Your Lives will celebrate Iron Maiden’s 50th anniversary with a mix of classics and rare tracks from the band’s first nine albums, ranging from Iron Maiden has Fear Of The Dark. Steve Harris, the band’s bassist, said: “It’s amazing that this band has been around for 50 years. We have so many songs, albums and tours behind us. It’s great to see young fans in the audience. We are putting together a show that no one will forget.”

The tour will also mark the stage debut of new touring drummer Simon Dawson, replacing Nicko McBrain, who recently retired after 40 years with the band.

European dates to remember

Concerts in , Belgium and Switzerland are particularly anticipated:

  • June 19 – Dessel, Belgique: Graspop Metal Meeting (festival)
  • July 3 – , France: Eurockéennes (festival)
  • July 9 – Zurich, Switzerland: Hallenstadion (with Avatar)
  • July 19 and 20 – , France: Paris La Défense Arena (with Avatar)

The tour will include special opening acts from Halestorm, The Raven Age and Avatar depending on the dates.
