Over the hours, a disturbance will spread to Île-de-France and the entire north-east of France. Météo France predicts that the forecast precipitation could turn into snow and freezing rain, which could make the roads slippery. 30 departments are placed on orange alert due to this icy snow episode from 4 p.m. this Saturday.
However, Météo France emphasizes that it is likely that “the most urbanized areas, including Paris, are less affected by these slippery phenomena due to less cold soils.“
