First, you were dancing to this O-Zone song. That’s the first slap in the face. The second is that it was 20 years ago.
Love from Tei from the O-Zone group.
This song is in Moldovan and strangely enough, you knew the words.Vidéo: YouTube/Time Records
In 2004, the Moldovan boy band’s hit was at the top of the world charts for weeks and was heard on all radio stations. Several years later, it was even covered by stars like Rihanna, One Republic and David Guetta.
But the Love From Tei O-Zone’s original is and remains the best version.
It was very well done:
Overall, 2004 was a good year for summer hits. There was, among others, Aventura with Obsesión which made you want to dance tight and This Love by Maroon 5.
And the hit of summer 2024? If we look at the Swiss charts, it would probably be this reggaeton track by Floyymenor and Cris MJ.
Gata Only is currently in charts around the world and the song has been number one in Switzerland for several weeks. We are far from the choreographies of the Moldovan group and their contagious enthusiasm.
This summer, you listened to this:
The group broke up in 2005 and each of the three members pursued solo careers. One of the members, Arsenie Toderas, represented Moldova in the Eurovision contest in 2006, but he did not shine, ending up in twentieth place in the ranking. The second, Radu Sarbu, has also made his mark, but his success remains modest.
The third, Dan Balan, is perhaps the most successful. He moved to Los Angeles to perform on stage with his rock band, Balan. He also worked with Rihanna and Ti on the title Live Your Life. In 2009, he was nominated for a Grammy Award. His Music is still widely listened to in Eastern Europe.

People’s sympathy brought in subscribers and likes, and consequently, money. She claimed to have only four months to live before she recovered thanks, as she shared, to a healthy diet. Belle Gibson claimed a plant-based diet and natural therapies saved her life. Thanks to this lie, she built an empire.
