Rapper Ye is the target of a complaint for sexual assault and strangulation during the filming of a Music video in New York in 2010.
Kanye West (again) in turmoil. The rapper, who today calls himself simply Ye, is the subject of a complaint filed Friday, November 22, reports the website of the American channel NBC. Jenifer An, model and actress, accuses him of having sexually assaulted and strangled her on the set of a music video in 2010, at the Chelsea Hotel in New York. It is in this same city that the complaint was filed.
The New York City Police Department said it takes “cases of sexual assault and rape very seriously and urges anyone who is a victim to file a police report so that we can fully investigate and provide support and services to survivors,” reports NBC.
In her complaint, Jenifer An says she was chosen by Kanye West on the film set, where the actresses were forced to “stand in a row, in the hallway”, so that the rapper “evaluated their appearance”, before order the elected officials to “follow him”.
Kanye West targeted by several complaints
“Dominant”, according to the model's account, Ye would have “started to strangle her with one hand”, then “with both hands”. “He then pushed several fingers down her throat, moving them in and out continuously, and gagged her to imitate forced oral sex,” is added in the complaint, relayed by the same American media.
“It's art. It's shitty art. I'm like Picasso,” Ye reportedly said.
Jenifer An also accuses the label Universal Music Group of not having investigated the facts she denounces.
Real Kanye West, fake Taylor Swift… Funny stars in Moscow
Last October, rapper Kanye West had already been accused of sexual assault by his former chief of staff, Lauren Pisciotta. Since June, he has also been accused of “sexual harassment”, “breach of contract” and “wrongful dismissal” in other cases.
Finally, a complaint was filed on November 14 by another former employee for anti-Semitic remarks (this is not the first time), after asserting that “the Jews controlled the Kardashians”.
