The singer reacted after the comedian covered one of her songs in his show.
A few weeks ago, an extract from Inès Reg’s new show was revealed on social networks. We see the comedian making fun of the clash she had with Natasha St-Pier by singing on one of the latter’s songs.
As a reminder, the two women argued behind the scenes of “Dancing with the Stars”, leading to the filing of several handrails. After this episode, the two women returned to their projects. Inès Reg claimed to have turned the page.
However, in her new show, she parodies the song “You will find” by Natasha St-Pier to return to this clash. Asked about this sketch in “50’ Inside”, the Canadian singer explains: “ It inspires me that, it’s atrocious what I’m going to say, lucky… Because I’m one of those rare artists who have a timeless song that is known to all generations, and if it is covered, it’s is that it means something and that is that it exists. There are so many artists who want to exist, I’m not going to complain. » And added: “ It makes me sad, because no one consciously wants to hurt someone, and if she’s still talking about it, maybe she’s still hurt, and that wasn’t my goal, and that doesn’t is not yet today. I would have preferred her to be happy. »
