The TAN group puts an end to its career.
This June 29, the leader, Changsun, revealed that TAN would disband in a letter addressed to fans and published on the group’s official fancafe. He also shared that he was going to step away from his leadership role by leaving the music industry.
He wrote :
“Hello Soda!!
I’m finally writing to you now…
I had to make you wait a long time after the fanmeeting. I’m sorry. I had a hard time expressing myself, I missed my timing while thinking about it, haha… Today was my last schedule, so I organized my thoughts until today!As I said on stage during the fan concert, I worked very hard for almost 10 years, but the real reason behind it all was because of the people who love me, the people who are happy because of me , especially our supportive family, our friends and above all, our fans! That’s why I guess I was able to endure and keep going.
So when I almost gave up in the middle, the last thing I tried was to show a good side, and that was on ‘Wild Idol’.
After that, during those years with TAN, I met the wonderful members and our beloved Soda, and I ran even harder!!!
I am filled with so many great memories!I think now I have to step down as the leader of TAN… Many people believed in me as the leader of Born to Be and supported me, and I am grateful for that.
As for what path I’ll take next, it’s still hard to say… There’s still the question of my military service and all that, so it might take a little longer.In fact, since last year, I have been thinking and trying to find ways to stay with the members for almost a year.
Seeing various thoughts and situations not going the way I wanted them to, and changing accordingly.
For now, we have decided to find our own places!
But I believe and hope that there will be a day when we can come together again!
And if I get the chance later, unless we can reunite as TAN again, I don’t think there will be another me as an idol. But I think I’ll keep dancing, so maybe there’ll be a chance to meet you all? I think…!Until then, please take care of and support our members.
And finally, our Sodas, I’m sorry to say it like this, and thank you very much for making me happy during this time. I have so many memories that I want to say goodbye to everyone individually and have a lot of affection, but now I have to live with memories… I didn’t know this moment would come, but maybe I always tried to remember the Soda hehehe…
I believe that if I remember and cherish the memories, there will be a day when I can create good memories again!!This is something I’ve said a lot, but thank you very much,
