Even as her fans discover her documentary on Amazon Prime Video with emotion, Céline Dion seems to be returning to public life. Friday June 28, the star made a notable appearance at the Sphere in Las Vegas, during a sports ceremony organized by the NHL, the “National Hockey League”, the professional ice hockey league in North America.

It was on the arm of her eldest son René-Charles, 23, that Céline Dion arrived at the ceremony. Dressed all in white, the singer appeared in great shape, having been battling stiff-person syndrome (also known as “SPS” for “Stiff-person syndrome”) for several years now. The Quebec singer was invited to announce the names of players chosen by the Montreal Canadiens hockey team during this first round of the NHL draft.

It’s no surprise to see Celine Dion taking part in a hockey-related event, as she is such a fan of the sport. A passion she shares with her boys by regularly attending matches.

Celine Dion expected at the Paris Olympics?

A few days ago, still in Las Vegas, Celine Dion had distinguished herself during the concert of the Croatian cellist Stjepan Hauser. Then surrounded by her three sons, René-Charles and her brothers, Nelson and Eddy (13 years old), the singer had been acclaimed by the public.

On June 17, she was in New York to promote the documentary “I Am: Celine Dion”, launched on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform. An intimate film – with a shocking spasm scene for her fans – which follows his fight against the illness which has prevented him from returning to the stage for four years now.

The one who does everything to be able to reconnect with her audience could well take part in the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games in a few weeks. At least, that’s what Sports Minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra suggested on June 27 while she was on BFMTV.
