British singer Dua Lipa unveils a new version of her song this Friday, November 8 These Wallson which she invites the Belgian singer Pierre de Maere. The 23-year-old puts his voice on one of the verses, which he interprets in the language of Molière.
The original version of These Wallsa solo by Dua Lipa, appears on her third album Radical Optimism released last May. Its new rereading with Pierre de Maere is accompanied by a video in which the popstar and the singer, visibly complicit, rehearse their duet in the studio.
This is the second time that Dua Lipa has called on a Belgian artist to sign a Franco-English duet: in 2020, she unveiled the hit Fever in collaboration with the singer Angèle.
World tour
Pierre de Maere enjoyed success in 2022 with his single One day I will marry an angelgone viral on TikTok. Son premier album, Look at mewas released in 2023. Since then, the Belgian artist has notably been awarded a Victoire de la Musique in 2023 in the category of Male revelation of the year but also the Belgian Revelation of the Year prize at the NRJ Music Awards in 2022.
Dua Lipa, who became a global star with the success of her second album Future Nostalgia in 2020, is currently on a world tour to defend Radical Optimism. Ce Radical Optimism Tour started Tuesday, November 5 in Singapore and will cross Asia before passing through Oceania, Europe and North America.
She will perform in France four times, first at the LDLC Arena in Lyon on May 15 and 16, 2025, then at the Paris La Défense Arena on May 23 and 24.
