Hanni (NewJeans) was summoned by the National Assembly of South Korea.
Hanni from NewJeans and Kim Joo Young, CEO of ADOR, were invited to appear at the audit session of the National Assembly’s Committee on Environment and Labor scheduled for October 25.

On September 30, the National Assembly’s Environment and Labor Committee confirmed the decision to summon Hanni as a reference and Kim Joo Young as a witness for the upcoming audit on October 25. The National Assembly said it intended to question Hanni about workplace harassment and inquire with Kim Joo Young about the company’s inadequate response to the issue.
On September 11 during the NewJeans members’ livestream, Hanni declared that she had been the victim of harassment at work. According to him, HYBE would have asked the other artists of the agency to ignore the members of NewJeans, and its new CEO would have refused to do anything.
