At the forefront of the French music scene since 1980, Indochine went through a difficult period in the face of the rise of boy bands in the 90s. Revealed thanks to their catchy title The Adventurerin 1982, the group had one success after another in the following years. But pop rock seemed to have run out of steam in the 90s, the group had its ups and downs, pushing guitarist Dominique Nicolas to leave Indochine in 1994.
