As soon as it is broadcast, as soon as it is dissected. The first trailer for Daredevil Born Again contains several easter eggs referencing the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We reveal them to you, and of course we explain them to you.
Fans of Matt Murdockalias Daredevilwere finally treated to a preview of Daredevil Born Again, coming to Disney+. Around 2 months after some filming images, a first trailer confirmed the violent tone of the series, with lots of heists, fights and painfully broken bones. The short video isn’t just about that, though. History to remind that Daredevil is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), it contains several winks directly referring to the latter.

Before detailing them for you, let’s remember to understand that Daredevil Born Again takes place in 2026, after the events of the series She-Hulk Lawyer (2022) and Echo (2024). The former mafia boss Wilson Fisk became mayor of New York. For his part, Matt Murdock tries to bring about a minimum of justice through his law firm. When Fisk learns that man and Daredevil are one, their confrontation becomes inevitable.
Here are the easter eggs hidden in the Daredevil Born Again trailer
Almost all references to the MCU are in the image below. The plan reproduces a double page of the comics Daredevil n°595 by adding a few elements, circled in red. The most obvious is the poster for the Rogers musicalhis first name Steve, the original Captain America. The most attentive will remember having already seen it in the series Hawkeye for the first time, before finding her in several films like Spider-Man No Way Home or Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Just above, in black, we can see an advertisement for a club called Harlem’s Paradise. Its owner is none other than Luke Cagewho also had the right to his series. Another advertisement, to the right of the poster Rogers The Musicalextols the merits of Pingo Doce drinka green soda with guarana seen in The Incredible Hulk from 2008, then later in Ant-Man (2015) et Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).
At the top right of the image hides a subtlety. The blue sign on which is written “Happy New Year” (Happy New Year) is sponsored by the Pym van Dyne Foundation. To understand, direction Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania in 2023. We learn that Hope van Dyneplayed by Evangeline Lily, took over the Pym Technologies company and turned it into the Pym van Dyne foundation. Through it, the heroine uses the Pym particles invented by his father, which are used to change size, to carry out humanitarian actions.

Finally, a plan to be found a little further down shows different Daredevil masks. The middle one is yellow, reminiscent of the costume of the same color worn by Matt Murdock in She-Hulk. It is the work of fashion designer Luke Jacobson. The idea is based on Daredevil’s original outfit, created by Bill Everett, co-creator of the hero. The blind vigilante goes full red in 1965, in the 7th issue of the comics.
While waiting to find Murdock in a Marvel film, we will be able to watch Daredevil Born Again from March 4, 2025 on Disney+. Actor Charlie Cox will be accompanied by Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/the Punisher) in the lead roles.
