Black ice: more slipping on the roads

Still a lot of ice on the roads this Thursday morning. Difficult to get around the city center of Saint-Étienne (Loire). The light rain that fell during the night transformed the sidewalks into an ice rink. The department’s firefighters recorded around fifty interventions for minor falls. For motorists, maintaining control of the vehicle was not easy, especially when going downhill. Météo-France predicts the return of negative temperatures next night.
