The 29-year-old Franco-American actor made this confession on Wednesday during his appearance on the set of the French show Dailyon the occasion of the premiere of the biographical film A complete stranger, in which he plays a young Bob Dylan.

Remember that Chalamet took everyone by surprise Tuesday evening by showing up at the London premiere of the feature film behind the wheel of a self-service electric bike. The actor even took the liberty of riding on the red carpet before parking the Lime brand bike in front of the film poster.

However, he apparently did not have the right to leave the vehicle there.

“I wasn’t allowed to park there so I got fined £65 [soit environ 114 $ CAN]underlined the actor in French during the interview.

“It’s horrible because it was an advertisement for them!”, he added.

Timothée Chalamet also stressed that this stunt was not at all calculated. It was upon seeing that there were “lots of traffic jams” in the streets of London that the actor of Dune and of Wonka judged that he would probably be able to get to the premiere of the film more quickly by renting an electric bike.

In theaters in Quebec for three weeks, the biographical drama A complete stranger chronicles the beginnings of the legendary folk singer Bob Dylan in the early 1960s. The film directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line, Ford vs Ferrari) also stars Elle Fanning and Edward Norton.
