Montceau-les-mines: Screening of the film by Antonio Fischetti, journalist at Charlie Hebdo “Montceau News

A special event this Monday evening at the Embarcadère with Antonio Fischetti's film, “I don't want to go there anymore, mom. The journalist – Charlie Hebdo columnist and director was present for this screening.

Originating from the mining area, it is a return to the sources to present this personal work, a tribute to all the missing, defenders of Freedom of expression and an intimate quest.

In the preamble, Antonio Fischetti addressed the hundred spectators present: “I warn you, this is not a classic documentary. It's a weird movie. The diary, heterogeneous with my stories, my emotions and how “Je suis Charlie” resonates in me, intimately. I start from the shock of January 7, 2015, from the event to begin this sometimes erratic quest.”

This film was made possible thanks to a crowdfunding campaign which brought together 920 generous donors.

The director continues: “We question ourselves. It's a test of yourself. What to do with these videos where all the heads of state parade arm in arm, some of whom do not hesitate to lock up journalists in their country.

I am indelibly linked to Charlie. Giving meaning without knowing where to start.”

“Words organize this lure of belief”, when talking about religions with psychoanalyst Elsa Cayat. “Collect the images. Words are the mediums of relationships with others. What should I do with my initial fiction? »

Psychoanalysis is a political act. It matters to Charlie! This is the path to Freedom. This film links the two aspects: psychoanalysis for the intimate and Charlie more for the societal side.

How to integrate this event into your life? explains Riss, publishing director of Charlie Hebdo. “It’s imposed on you. We have to find solutions to our own stories.”

This film is about the missing picture. It is Elsa who is missing from the fresco drawn on the walls of Charlie's former premises.

When his thoughts oscillate between the two scales of the grocer's scales, the metronome of his life to music by Pascal Comelade!

“Where is life going?”

Religious images condemn people to death. What terrorists lack is otherness. But Charlie is an idea and ideas don’t die,” explains Antonio.

The film ends with a jump into the central canal, from the Blanzy bridge in the middle of Charlie's blankets which do not sink and Antonio does not drown.

It is a rebirth, which goes beyond the prohibitions of childhood and gives a new breath, the desire to continue. Every day, write the newspaper, use Freedom, use it as the law allows.
