Men's regional match 1 against Montceau:

Word from the coach:
Overall we had a bad match, with a lot of ups and downs. We were very static in reception and defense in the first 2 sets, and even after that it wasn't incredible. We made a lot of stupid mistakes, especially on serve. We still managed to raise our heads so as not to lose points in the championship and win the match for Mathéo who was injured. We will have to take a lot more seriousness in the matches to come and stop playing like crazy.
U18 girls match against Dole:
Defeat 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-14)

The girls, despite a 3-0 defeat, played a nice match. They were testing the positions in a match for the first time and did well on this point, however, this being new, they put a lot of pressure on them and still struggled with their positioning once in the game. So we are going to still work on this during training so that the next match is comfortable with these positions and focused on all the bases already learned.
Men's regional match 2 against Fontaine les Dijon:

Overall satisfactory match because the team was able to show a much more complete and efficient game than in the last matches. The result remains frustrating but we were able to score our points in attack and defend the opponent's smashes. What we lacked this time is above all regularity in serving, passes not varied enough and little communication on certain easy balls or even a lack of movement on the opponent's raises or feints.
The team is making great progress and it's something satisfying to see, we think we can be more up to the task in the next matches.
Women's pre-national match against Salins:
Victoire 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-19)
Word from the coach:
We start the year with a great victory against Salins. The team was keen to do well and was very involved. We put in a lot of desire and effort from the start of the match when usually the first set is always complicated. We were all about the service and the attack, even if Salins defended well. We were clean in reception and recovery to be able to play with all our attackers. Everyone was able to play even a few points and they all showed a very good state of mind. We will have to play at least as well in the coming weeks, especially against Talant next week who are 2nd in the championship.
