What challenge awaits you?
Under the supervision of the communications division manager, you will play a key role in proposing visual communication strategies. Here are your main responsibilities:
- Design graphic materials to effectively communicate information using various communication tools: print, advertising materials, displays, digital media, etc.
- Support municipal services in their graphic design needs to represent clear and effective messages.
- Ensure compliance with the City’s brand image and graphic standards and ensure their development.
- Collaborate closely with members of the communications team to ensure consistency with the overall communications strategy.
- Contribute to the development of the City’s overall communications plan and provide support.
Does this appeal to you? Here is the profile we are looking for:
- Training and experience : DEC or AEC in graphics or computer graphics with 3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
- Technical skills : Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and the Microsoft Office suite and in-depth knowledge of typography, color scheme and layout.
- Qualities sought after : Creativity, curiosity about trends, ability to argue concepts and manage several projects at once.
- Other requirements : Valid driving license (class 5).
