Valentine’s Day promises to be bloody in cinemas this year with Heart Eyes. The horror film long awaited by fans of the genre unveiled a particularly distressing and violent first trailer on Tuesday, a month before its release.
“No couple is safe,” the film promises Heart Eyes. Indeed, in this new offering from filmmaker Josh Ruben (Scare Me, Werewolves Within), a masked killer – whose headgear is decorated with heart-shaped eyes – stalks couples in love on Valentine’s Day, reserving a disastrous (and very bloody) fate for each of them.
Mason Gooding and Olivia Holt will star in the film, which also features 1990s icons Devon Sawa and Jordana Brewster. For several months now, horror fans have had high expectations for this film, its screenplay being co-written by Christopher Landon, the man behind Happy birthday again! (Happy Death Day) et Bizarre (Freaky).
