The ephemeral laboratory: “a celebration of almost ten years”

“From the start, I knew that there would be a moment when we would stop. I’m going to be 65 years old and I’m reaching a period where I can no longer do everything. I can’t devote myself to cinema , festivals, writing and more […] There is also a lack of interest in culture on the part of public authorities and even people who prefer animation, contesting the values of culture which are excellence, rigor and ambition. This is what hurts me the most,” explains François Zabaleta, as to the reasons for the closure of the ephemeral laboratory.
