Following Jan Vertonghen’s new injury, Anderlecht will have to recruit two new central defenders this winter. Olivier Renard is working on it, but he also has other files to finalize.
Two Malian talents
According to Africafoot, Anderlecht will offer a first professional contract to Aboubacar Diarra and Abdoul Karim Djiré. These two young 18-year-old Malian midfielders arrive from the JMG academy in Bamako and will probably initially play with RSCA Futures. This will allow them to acclimatize to European football.
Djiré is a defensive midfielder. Aboubacar Diarra is a central midfielder described as fast and very technical. He is also followed by RB Salzburg but prefers to join RSCA.
Talent supplier
The JMG academy in Bamako trains many talents. This winter, several players will sign in Europe. We can notably cite Hamidou Malakou (OM), Modibo Sissoko (RB Salzburg), Allasane Togola (RB Salzburg) and Moussa Massiré Diop (Lille).
