With its adaptation of Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson delivered to posterity a cult, epic and generous workboasting splendid cinematography and iconic lines. The quality of its trilogy makes it one of the most reviewed sagas by fans, which keep discovering new details in reference to the novels by JRR Tolkien. One of them concerns the character of Legolas, about whom you can discover here 10 little-known facts, the blond Elf played on screen by Orlando Bloom. A member of the Fellowship of the Ring, he accompanies Frodo in his quest against Sauron, confronting with the troop violent bad weather, including snowstorms, against which he is much better equipped than his comrades!

On Reddit, user Randytheadventurer spotted a fun detail about Legolas. While the latter literally walks on the snow, without sinking, thanks to his light stephis companions saw half of their bodies engulfed in the powder. This ability of the Elf is already described by Tolkienbut according to the reactions of other Internet users under his post, this information was quite unknown.
A cool little detail is that Legolas can walk on top of the snow whilst the rest of the fellowship has to walk through the snow.
