Season 2 of Tulsa King is revealed with a rather angry first teaser, what will happen for the return of Sylvester Stallone as a mafia boss?
After trying his hand at a superhero film with The Samaritanreleased in 2022 on Amazon Prime Video, Sylvester Stallone stayed on the streaming platform side with Tulsa King, a Paramount+ series in which he plays an old mafioso wishing to rebuild his empire after several years in prison. Created by Taylor Sheridan (Sicario, Yellowstone), the crime series very quickly found its audience both in France and in the United States (even if for our part, we found this first season very uneven).
A season 2 was thus announced even before the end of the broadcast of the first. While we haven’t really had any news since the announcement of the start of filming last April, season 2 was recently revealed in a first teaser.
Tulsa King, for twice as much Stallone
Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) is therefore back in the teaser for season 2 of Tulsa King, and he is ready to make his law reign. In addition to the American star, we will obviously find other actors known from the first episodes of Taylor Sheridan’s series, such as Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Jay Will and Max Casella.
History level, Following Tulsa King should logically start after the cliffhanger of the finale of the first season (SPOILERS) as Dwight is arrested again. We also notice in this video several scenes where the character is in prison, perhaps to escape in the manner ofEscape (this seems unlikely). More seriously, Dwight seems motivated to return to Tulsa to resume “ what belongs to him. »
The first season introduced us to Stallone in anti-hero mode., so it will be interesting to see what choices are made to develop the character. Make him even more ruthless, or on the contrary continue on his redemption arc which seemed to be taking shape at the end of season 1?
Anyway, season 2 of Tulsa King will be available from September 15 on the Paramount+ platform. We will soon be able to find out if the King of Tulsa is really back.
