launches production of its new animated film

(Boursier.com) — Xilam Films, a company of the group Xilam Animationlaunches production of its new family film Lucy Lost, adapted from the novel Listen to the Moon, written by Michael Morpurgo, a famous multi-award-winning British writer (War Horse, adapted by Steven Spielberg, Kensuke’s Kingdom)

Gebeka International, a company owned by Hildegarde and Goodfellas (The Boy and the Heron, Spirited Away), is handling international sales for the film, and Le Pacte (Kensuke’s Kingdom, Little Panda in Africa) will distribute the film theatrically in France. Canal+ and Ciné+ have acquired the rights for pay television in France.

The film is scheduled for delivery in March 2026. The film is produced by Marc du Pontavice.
