In front of a very nice assembly, Christian Habas opened his first assembly as president.
Reading the various reports for this year 2024, we have the satisfaction of seeing our association progress in terms of membership, a sign of the good health of a club where life is good. Aware of wanting to evolve, the QMO Cyclo wants to raise awareness among female cycle tourists to join us to discover the roads of our Bigorre and even further afield…
From now on, the club is also involved in CoDep since this year it joins the departmental committee with the functions of vice-president of Christian Habas and Vincent Broussan in events.
The year 2024 was very rich in sporting activities such as our exemplary participation in the numerous cyclos organized by neighboring clubs, our outings, our various stays: Tautavel in Occitane land and Ostabat-Asme in the Basque Country. The 2025 program, already full, looks encouraging.
During the year, we organized an evening with the Qu'em co quiem group at the church, a garage sale, as well as our beautiful cycle ride with very popular gravel circuits. On the communication side, notable development with the creation of Facebook and Instagram links. The financial report rigorously prepared by Vincent allowed us to appreciate the good balance of our association. Finally, our friend Gégé closed with a little reminder of the road safety rules that are so important to pursue our passion with serenity.
The mayor, Guillaume Rossic, wanted to warmly thank our club for its community involvement in village life. It was around a pot of friendship followed by a convivial meal with all the guests that the 2024 general assembly ended in a very beautiful way.
