Summary of the sprint race

First match point for Jorge Marin during this final sprint race of the season. While the Madrilenian started from fourth place on the starting grid, the Pramac 89 took off very well. The Spaniard huddled behind the exhaust of his championship rival, Francesco Bagnaia. But it was Enea Bastianini who took the lead at the exit of the first turn.

A few laps later, Pecco Bagnaia overtook his comrade to take control of the peloton. The “Martinator” tried to follow him, but in vain, the pace of the Turinese was well above. Over almost the entirety of this round, the Italian maintained a gap of +1.5 seconds on his opponent. At the end of these twelve laps, Bagnaia won in front of Bastianini and Martin. The title is therefore postponed until tomorrow for the Grand Prix.
