WSBK Estoril Supersport J2: Ducati secures second consecutive WorldSSP constructors’ title

Ducati once again asserted its dominance in the World Championship
FIM Supersport by securing its second consecutive manufacturers’ title in 2024. This achievement is a testament to Ducati’s continued excellence in the intermediate category of series-derived motorcycle competitions.

Thanks to the victory of Yari Montella In Race 1, which took place this afternoon at the Estoril circuit, Ducati won its second World Supersport Manufacturers’ title, once again reaffirming its dominance at the pinnacle of international motorcycling competition.

This is a significant achievement for the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer, who only a few weeks ago, at the end of September, celebrated their sixth MotoGP constructors’ world title and currently leads the Superbike championship standings.

This year’s Supersport season saw the Ducati Panigale V2 triumph in no less than 18 races with three different riders. Adrian Huertasdriver of the Aruba.it Racing WSSP team and current leader of the world championship, has achieved ten victories and seven pole positions in 2024.
Yari Montelladriver of the Barni Spark Racing team, has achieved eight victories and is in second place in the standings, 36 points behind Huertas. Niki Tuulifrom the EAB Racing team, won his first race with Ducati at Magny-Cours, . In addition, 31 podiums were obtained by the manufacturer from Borgo Panigale in WorldSSP this year.

The second consecutive manufacturers’ world title in WorldSSP represents a significant achievement for Ducati, which continues to accumulate successes thanks to the excellent work carried out by Ducati Corse engineers and the close collaboration with its satellite teams in the category.
