Today, Sunday, at the Sunna Mosque in Rabat, Princess Lalla Meryem chaired a religious ceremony commemorating the twenty-sixth anniversary of the death of the late King Hassan II, may God rest his soul.

This religious ceremony was distinguished by the recitation of clear verses from the Holy Quran and the singing of prophetic praises.

On this occasion, I raised my highest supplications to the Almighty to include in His vast mercy the late King Hassan II and the late King Mohammed V and to make them reside in His spacious paradise.

The audience also prayed to God Almighty to protect the Commander of the Faithful, King Mohammed VI, as he preserved the Wise Remembrance, to guide his steps, and to crown his works and initiatives with success and prosperity, and to approve of his crown prince, Prince Moulay El Hassan, and to support his brother, Prince Moulay Rachid, and all members of the honorable royal family.

This ceremony was attended by many female civilian and military figures.

Upon her arrival at the Sunna Mosque, Princess Lalla Meryem reviewed a group of auxiliary forces who saluted, before being greeted by Awatef Hiar, Minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family, Mohamed Yaakoubi, Governor of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, Governor of the Rabat Prefecture, and Rachid Abdi, President of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra Region Council, Fatiha Al-Moudani, President of the Rabat Community Council, Abdelaziz Darwish, President of the Rabat Prefecture Council, Idriss Al-Razi, President of the Hassan District Council, and Khattar Al-Mujahidi, Director of National Cooperation.
