The Minister added: In line with the state’s trends towards digital transformation and in continuation of the Ministry’s efforts to employ modern technology for security purposes, a specialized training institute for security technology systems and artificial intelligence applications has been created to hone the skills of workers in the newly created Security Operations Center and enable them to keep pace with the unlimited development in this field and adapt it for the benefit of management and follow-up. Security operations. It is planned that the role of the institute will be extended to receive trainees from brotherly and friendly countries.
The Minister of Interior explained: In the context of completing the development of the human system to achieve integration in concepts and performance between the police forces with their various functional cadres, and as an extension of the systems applied at the Police Academy, the training curricula at the security assistant institutes have been reformulated so that the duration of study becomes three years during which the system of job specialization is applied in the various fields of security work. Providing them with the necessary experience and basic information to use modern technology, as well as practical training in police positions according to their specialization, until they are fully prepared to carry out tasks immediately upon completion of their studies.
The Minister of the Interior continued: In light of the practical reality of the success of women police officers in carrying out many security tasks, most notably securing and guarding important female figures, the Ministry has paid attention to expanding the numbers of women police officers accepted at the Police College and Security Assistant Institutes, providing them with advanced skills and qualifying them to enter the police academy. Working in various fields of security work, as well as expanding the scope of their participation in international peacekeeping operations in line with the United Nations’ directives to expand the inclusion of women within the police forces participating in peacekeeping missions.
