Casatramway: lines T3 and T4 are back in service

THE lines T3 and T4 of Casatramway officially entered into service on Monday, September 23, 2024. The new lines total 26.5 km and 39 passenger stations. Operation is initiated with a fleet of 24 trains of tram allowing a frequency of passage every 10 minutes on each line from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

There line T314 km long, serves the Al Wahda, Salmia and Casa Port districts through 20 passenger stations, taking the boulevards 10 mars, Abdelkader Sahraoui, El Akid El Allam, Driss El Harti, Mohammed VI, , Mohamed Smiha and Moulay Abderrahmane.

There T4 line stretches over 12.5 km, includes 19 passenger stations and connects the Moulay Rachid Industrial Zone to the Arab League Park via the boulevards Oqba, Driss El Harti, El Akid El Allam, Forces Auxiliaires, Nil, Anoual, Ouled Ziane, Capitaine Puississeau, Baraton, Place Victoire, Rahal Meskini, Place Mers Sultan, Allal El Fassi and Moulay Youssef.

A total park of 40 Alstom X05 trainswith a capacity of 600 passengers each, will eventually ensure a frequency of 5 minutes. These lines complete the network of Dedicated Public Transport Site (TCSP) from Casablanca and bring its overall length to 98 km, i.e. triple the service provided on 12/12/2012 (31 km).
