Update Wednesday December 18, 4:20 p.m.: Cancellation of the Ibrahim Maalouf concert.
Following the flood that occurred on November 27, La Maison remains closed until a date currently unknown.
In fact, initially, the closure was announced until the end of the year. But, this Wednesday, December 18, at the start of the day, a new show was canceled: Absolutely cubescheduled for January 11; which doesn’t bode well for the future…
A postponement studied, but a cancellation cannot be ruled out
In the middle of the afternoon, the concert of star trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf, scheduled at La Maison on January 25, was indicated as canceled. The municipal theater team, which had organized the arrival of this artist, is looking for a date to postpone it to a later date, without excluding a cancellation of this meeting.
In addition, certain performances also scheduled for January, intended for schools, have been canceled or postponed; which gives an indication as to the extension of the closure of the Great Hall.
No official communication on a reopening date
As for La Maison, no official communication on a reopening date. We will have to wait until the first days of January to see the horizon clear a little more.
It is the large room which is the most impacted, the entire rest of the building is operational.
