Two people were checked in Nevers by the police on Saturday December 14 and Sunday December 15. They had drugs on them. They received fines.
Burglaries
Burglaries took place in Nevers during the weekend of December 15. Impasse du Hameau de Barcelona, two homes were visited by one or more thieves. Traces of weighing were noted by the police at the entrances to the accommodation. Another theft took place on rue Molière. The thefts involve jewelry and cash. Inventories are underway.
Vehicles on fire
The firefighters were called around 4:30 a.m., Sunday December 15, to contain a fire affecting a car, rue de Coblence in Nevers. Unfortunately, when they arrived, the cart was engulfed in flames and was completely destroyed. Two other vehicles were engulfed in flames in the ducal city. Around 3:50 p.m., Sunday the 15th, a blue van burned for an unknown reason on rue du Colonel Louis Dartois. Strangely, another vehicle burned on the same street, but a few hours later. This Monday, December 16, around 12:30 a.m., another van was destroyed in the flames.
Pedestrian on the highway
A pedestrian who was walking on the A77 near Varennes-Vauzelles was quickly reported to the authorities this Monday, December 16. Disoriented, he was recovered by the police and firefighters, safe and sound.
Cable theft
In Sardy-lès-Épiry, a copper theft took place this Monday, December 16. The thieves attacked a telephone line. They stole 40 m of cable.
